Exhibitor Fee $10. Entry Fee 20% OF WINNINGS. Entries close August 23rd, 2024 (register ahead).

No pens reserved. Pedigrees will be checked. Exhibits must not be removed before 4:30 p.m.

Liability Insurance for a minimum of $1 million is mandatory. Proof of coverage will be required during online registration (have it ready).

RULES

1. All livestock shall be washed, trimmed and groomed before entering the show ring. 2. Dorset, Hampshire, Short, Southdown, Suffolk, Oxford, A.O.B. Shortwool - shown in short fleece. 3. Only 2 breeds may be exhibited by any one exhibitor. 4. All entries must be owned by and registered in the name of the exhibitor. 5. Number of Entries: Limited to one entry per section, per exhibitor, except that the Paris Fair has authorized two entries per exhibitor per section, to a maximum of two sections. 6. The maximum number of entries in breeding class per exhibitor is six. 7. (a) No person may make an entry as an individual and as a farm or limited company. (b) All animals, whether owned by one person or more than one person (individually or jointly) which are maintained as one farm or breeding unit are considered to be the production of one farm or breeding unit. Therefore only one animal per section is eligible from such a unit. (c) Any person who shares any portion of a joint ownership in any animal entered shall be precluded from showing another animal in his own or farm name in the same section. 8. All general rules of the Paris Fair and those of the 2024 Canada Department of Agriculture, Livestock Classification will apply. 9. Prize Money will be withheld if exhibits are removed before judging is completed.

Prizes: $45.00, $40.00, $35.00, $30.00, $25.00, $20.00, $15.00, $10.00 to all remaining.

EWES

1. Yearling - 3rd pair of temporary incisors must be in place. Born and bred in Canada.

2. Lamb - First pair of temporary incisors must be in place. Born the property of the Exhibitor.

RAMS

3. Yearling - 3rd pair of temporary incisors must be in place.

4. Lamb - First pair of temporary incisors must be in place. Born the property of the Exhibitor.

GROUPS

5. Get of Sire - Born the property of the exhibitor. A group of three animals, full mouth milk teeth, by the same sire. Both sexes may be represented.

6. Breeder's Flock - One breed bred and owned by exhibitor. A group of four animals. Both sexes to be represented. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes.

SPECIAL

Champion Breeder’s Flock - will be selected from all first prize Breeders Flock. Prize $25 and will receive the Nunan Memorial Trophy (Perpetual) donated by Mrs. Bernard (Anna) Nunan in memory of Bernard and Jack Nunan. The trophy will be inscribed with winners name and remain on display in the Fair Hall.
