The following organizations are contributing funds for the purpose of holding a Jersey Parish Show in conjunction with Paris Fall Fair: Brant-Norfolk Jersey Breeders, Paris Agricultural Society, EastGen, TD Bank - Dan Inksetter (Paris)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Fees: To show in the Brant-Norfolk Parish Show, you must be a club member in good standing (you must have paid the current year's club membership fee of $10.00). Registration fee of $2.00/animal fee at time of registration. Exhibitor fee of $10.00 plus 20% of prize money won by each exhibitor retained by PAS.

2. PAS General Rules to govern, except where Jersey show rules apply.

3. Entries must be submitted online at parisfairgrounds.com or at the fair office by Monday, August 26th, 2024, registration name, number, and date of birth of all animals is required.

4. Liability Insurance for a minimum of $1 million is mandatory. Proof of coverage will be required during registration (have it ready).

Prizes Sections 2-8: $30, $25, $22.50, $17.50, $15, $12.50, $10, $7.50, $6, $4

1. Pre 4-H Showmanship. Open to boys & girls under 9 years of age. Participants must be a Jersey

breeder's child. No entry fee. Sponsored by Brian and Donna Sayles.

2. Calf. Born after March 1st, 2024.

3. Intermediate Calf. Born December 1st, 2023 - February 28th, 2024.

4. Senior Calf. Born September 1st, 2023 - November 30th, 2023.

5. Summer Yearling. Born June 1st, 2023 - August 31st, 2023.

6. Junior Yearling. Born March 1st, 2023 - May 31st, 2023.

7. Uncalved Yearling & Winter Yearling. Born September 1st, 2022 - February 28th, 2023.

8. Junior Herd (bred and at least 2 owned by exhibitor). Group of 3 animals. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited In one of the classes for single animals.

Prizes Sections 9-18: $60, $50, $45, $35, $30, $25, $20, $15, $12, $8

9. Milking Yearling. Born September 1st, 2022 - November 30th, 2022.

10. Junior Two Year Old. Born March 1st, 2022 - August 31st, 2022.

11. Senior Two year old. Born September 1st, 2021 - February 29th, 2022.

12. Junior Three Year Old. Born March 1st, 2021 - August 31st, 2021.

13. Senior 3 Year Old. Born September 1st, 2020 - February 28th, 2021.

14. Four Year Old. Born September 1st, 2019 - August 31st, 2020.

15. Five Year Old. Born September 1st, 2018 - August 31st, 2019.

16. Mature Cow. Born prior to September 1st, 2018.

17. Lifetime Component Class - animal cannot be exhibited in any other class. Lifetime total solids

record of 4,500 KG+, based on official DHI Records.

18. Breeder's Herd (bred and at least two owned by exhibitor). Group of 3 animals. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes for single animals. Winner receives the Barker Family Memorial trophy.
