Join Us at the Paris Fair September 2nd to 6th 2021 – We’re Back!

Paris Fair LogoParis, ON – July 19, 2021 – The past year and a half has had an unprecedented impact on our community. During this challenging time, the Paris Agricultural Society has opened our doors to Meals on Wheels, Canadian Blood Donor Clinics, and Brant County Health Unit vaccination clinics. Members of the Society are now ready to get back to doing what they do best.
Paris Fair will open September 2 nd to 6th.

“We are trained and experienced in offering a safe family-friendly event that provides entertainment, agricultural education and celebrates all that is good in our County,” stated Cheryl Muir, Society Manager.

The Board of Directors began creating their vision of a safe event last fall. Directors worked with Brant County Health Unit staff to develop and approve a Safety Plan for patrons, participants, and volunteers.  Muir confirmed, “As we continue to see signs of hope and positivity there will be challenges to be faced and creative new directions to explore. Some aspects of this year’s Fair will be different.”

To conform to the Province of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen and Regulation 364/20:

• Capacity limits and the number of vendors are reduced.
• Midway rides will be spaced to allow for social distancing.
• Some programs have been changed or eliminated.

Public health officials remind us that events and gatherings pose less of a risk of spreading COVID-19 when they are held outdoors. Touch-free scanning at gates, reduction in the use of indoor space, and reminders to respect social distancing will be in place to keep visitors safe.  Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee entry. Watch the Paris Fair social
media channels and website parisfairgrounds.com for tickets, daily schedules, and attraction information.

Paris Fair staff and volunteers cannot wait to open the doors with a smile on September 2nd.  “The Society and the community have been through a very challenging time. People are ready to experience fun in the tradition of the Paris Fair, truly the safe place “Where Friends Meet” states Muir.
